Novotel Sydney West HQ offers access to a pool that garners mixed reviews from its guests. While the pool itself is noted to be clean and the temperature agreeable, there are several logistical concerns that affect guests' satisfaction. Many reviews highlight the pool's limited and inconvenient operating hours, such as closing as early as 5pm or being shut down over long weekends, which restricts access for guests looking to make the most of their stay.
The pool is not located directly within the hotel complex, which requires guests to cross the road to a nearby leisure center. This setup can be confusing and inconvenient, as several guests reported difficulty in finding the pool or expressed that the pool’s distant location detracted from their overall experience. Additionally, some guests were disappointed by having to drive a significant distance to reach other facilities or being offered access to a public pool down the road.
On a positive note, the hotel provides good additional amenities, including a gym, which is also highlighted as a great facility. The dining options available onsite are diverse, contributing positively to the overall guest experience. However, the sentiment remains that the pool’s current setup doesn’t fully meet expectations, leading some to suggest it should not be listed as a featured facility.
