I have been working on the environment for 14 years with the local government and local people. I formed the Bondalem Eco Village group and have been very active at the waste depot using grants for buying machines and employing people to separate and process the village waste Part of the project is the erection of signs and ssponsorship of local junior soccer team. We take kids to the Bird Park and Safari Park and give them lessons in ecology. We have our own Eco cafe which is the admin for the group. We have stopped the poaching of aquarium fish and shooting of birds in the area.
