The outdoor pool is on the small side and not always well-maintained, lacking sunbeds and parasols. However, it offers a beautiful view of Funchal's old town, while the upper pool provides good views of the coastline. Some guests complained that the indoor pool was cold and located in a hot area on the rooftop. Nevertheless, the pools, along with the spa, were praised as a relaxed and beautiful retreat surrounded by abundant greenery. While some guests felt that the pool facilities could be improved, others appreciated the excellent service, tasteful decor and picturesque garden.
