With an adult swim up bar on one side of the pool, you can enjoy your drink without any disturbance from kids. There are lots of activities happening throughout the day, such as water volleyball, ping-pong, yoga and even fishing. The lounge chairs are usually available and staff is happy to assist you in case of non-availability. The pools are well-maintained and lovely to look at. The only downside is that getting a chair can sometimes be an issue, but that's not something to be too worried about. The pool area has good service from the staff and they are always ready to help. Juan is especially worth mentioning for his excellent service. However, smoking in the pool area without a designated area is terrible and the staff tends to prefer one type of guest over others. The cleanliness of the pools could be better and more food options around the pool area would be much appreciated. One more thing to note is that the pool does close at 8 pm, so plan your day accordingly. Overall, Secrets Vallarta Bay Resort & SPA offers a great pool experience and it's worth considering for an adults-only relaxing getaway.
